In my role as a life coach, I am often helping people to create the life they always wanted – and I’m a huge proponent of the power of reality shifting methods, affirmations and visualisations. 

That’s why I’m excited to share this article with you.

How To Use The Raven Shifting Method To Create Your Desired Reality

The Raven method is a popular reality-shifting method to help you shift from your current reality to your desired reality.

It’s one of the simpler reality shifting methods, but that doesn’t make it any less powerful.

The idea of reality shifting is to de-stress and have fun spending some time in your desired reality. Some people report that shifting fills them with inspiration and confidence to create their desired reality in real life. 

So, let’s explore the 7 key steps to shift into your desired reality using the Raven Shifting Method. 

1. Write A Shifting Script

A shifting script is a detailed description of what your desired reality looks like. There are plenty of templates online with prompts to help you create this. Just perform a web search for “reality shifting script”.

This is a voluntary first step. Some people have the ability to shift into their desired reality without a script, because they say their subconscious already knows what they want.

Still, it’s recommended for reality-shifting newbies especially, because it will help them visualize their desired reality more clearly. 

2. Create A Relaxing Environment 

The process of reality shifting works better in a quiet and peaceful environment that helps you relax. There should be no distractions.

Any room with a bed where you close the door and expect privacy works fine.

It’s recommended that you play meditation music to relax your mind further. 

3. Meditate 

The third step is meditation. This primes your mind for reality shifting.

Your brain needs to be in a relaxed state, so you can stay calm and focus on your visualizing. If your brain is full of nervous energy that makes you easily distracted, you’re going to find the whole process of reality shifting much harder.

I recommend meditating for around 10 minutes to get out of your head and into your body. Simply sit in a comfortable position and focus on your breath.  

4. Lay In A Starfish Position

Lay on your bed or somewhere comfortable. Spread your arms and legs wide. It’s important that your limbs aren’t touching other parts of your body. Your body should be in a position where all your muscles are relaxed. 

5. Count To 100 With Affirmations

To shift into your desired reality, continue laying in the starfish position with your eyes closed and start counting slowly to 100. As you’re counting, you’ll be repeating affirmations to help you shift.

Here are some positive affirmations you can repeat;

  • I am shifting.
  • Shifting comes easily to me.
  • I am going to my desired reality.
  • I love to be in my desired reality.
  • My desired reality is amazing. 

Continue to repeat these as you’re counting to 100. It can be helpful to imagine you’re climbing a staircase with 100 steps during this process.

If you feel tingly, numb or light-headed during this process, there’s nothing wrong with that. In fact, it’s good because you want your consciousness to be awake while your body falls asleep.

If you lose focus at any point, don’t panic. It can happen. Just make sure you regain your focus before you continue counting. 

6. Visualize Your Desired Reality 

Once you’ve reached 100, it’s time to start visualizing your desired reality. Imagine where you’ll wake up, how you look, what you hear, how it smells. Is there another person or many people there with you? How do they treat you? What do you have planned for your day?

The more detail in your visualizations, the more you’ll get out of this exercise. 

Continue visualizing for as long as you see fit. If you’re tired, you may fall asleep, but you can choose to wake yourself up whenever you want.  

If you visualize something you believe is realistic for your future, this exercise should open the door to help you achieve your desired reality faster.

7. How To Make The Raven Method More Effective

It requires a strong mind to shift realities with the Raven Method. So, here are some voluntary tips to help you shift successfully.

  • Use subliminals. Some people recommend listening to meditation music with subliminals when shifting realities. This sends positive messages to your consciousness as you’re shifting. You can find plenty of subliminals for the Raven Method on YouTube. 
  • Fall asleep. It’s suggested that if you fall asleep with the feeling that you have shifted, you’ll hold onto that feeling for longer as you sleep and dream. So, maybe you’ll want to shift when you’re tired at the end of the day. 
  • Synchronize your shifting with the New Moon. It’s said that the energy from the New Moon can help you manifest any reality you want. 

Many people have shifted without these voluntary extra steps, but many others say they’ve shifted with more ease when adopting them.
